I picked this up for summer hikes and night photography trips in the Rockies. The cooling function is legit — I wore it while setting up gear on a 78°F evening and didn’t overheat at all.

LED lights helped with hands-free setup around camp and inside the tent. It's a great tool if you’re backpacking light and want to ditch headlamps.

My only feedback is I wish the LED had a red light mode to preserve night vision. Otherwise, this is an amazing jacket for night adventurers.

The battery lasted through my entire 5-hour night session, and I love how quiet the fans are — no buzzing or motor noise to scare the fish.

Fit was true to size (I’m 5'10", 185 lbs and got a Large), and the material feels sturdy yet breathable. A lot of thought clearly went into the design.
